Carrying the Cup with Pastor Chuck Lewis

Every leader wants to build the wall. Almost no one wants to stay a cupbearer.
Long before Nehemiah picked up a trowel, he carried a cup, faithfully, in obscurity, carrying a burden he didn't choose and couldn't yet explain. Carrying the Cup walks through Nehemiah's story to uncover a different kind of leadership formation: one built in waiting rooms and unglamorous seasons.
Organized around the acronym C.A.L.L.E.D. (Constructor, Affirmative, Launcher, Life-Giver, Entrusted, Devoted), this book is for the leader just discovering their calling and the leader further down the road who is ready to help someone else discover theirs.
You are not behind, and you are not finished. You are being formed, and so is the leader God is asking you to help form. Carry the cup well. The wall will come
