Sarah Young's Journey to Jesus
For millions of people across the world, Sarah Kelly Young was the author of their favorite devotional series: Jesus Calling. Millions were encouraged and inspired by her words, and many continue to discover her work to this day. The impact she made on the world, and continues to make, is very personal to Timothy. He had the rare privilege of walking closely with his sister Sarah across every era of her life, and now, he wants to honor her legacy with the truth behind the scenes.

TIMOTHY (TIM) KELLY earned an MA in theology and pastoral counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a PhD in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University. His career calling has included faculty appointments, senior governmental positions, and psychological care for those in need. Timothy has served on the faculty of several universities, including as Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology and Director of Clinical Training at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. He has published opinion editorials in the Washington Post and has been interviewed on NPR radio. Timothy is happily married to a very successful professional musician and is himself a guitarist and singer. They make their home in Franklin, Tennessee—not far from where Timothy’s sister Sarah Young is buried.
