Lynne Ruttkay is a Southern California-based action-sports artist and independent creative, who is passionate about inspiring others to embrace the transformative love of Christ. Through her dynamic storytelling, and her distinctive blend of action-sports culture and faith, she provokes hearts and minds to comprehend with wonder the powerful love of God through Christ and to live with transformed character.”
As a single mom, Lynne raised her son in faith and in the engaging world of the surf, skate, and snowboard culture. Since 1995, she has worked from her home studio creating apparel art for top brands like Quiksilver, Billabong, Rip Curl, and more. A dedicated servant, Lynne led Sunday school and the Salt and Light Ministry at Maranatha Chapel in San Diego until 2012.
Trained in character education at USD, Lynne now channels her passion into “Shred Games: The Legend of Kid Z,” a hilarious new audio fiction podcast series that brings Biblically based “character through sports” to the forefront. Lynne takes very seriously the value of doing everything through faith and not in our own strength. She is excited to see what God will do as the series is filled with insights on spiritual growth and resilience, offering biblical wisdom in an unexpected story that’s filled with eclectic music and cheeky humor.
