Innovation-Race Special Podcast

We were made in God’s image, which includes the ability to create and innovate. As Christians we credit God with all he creates and the creative abilities that he has endowed within us. The founding Father’s saw this privilege and therefore wrote protection of the creators rights and ownership of their creation into the constitution.

In the past 20+ years that has changed as politicians have altered our system. They have given the edge to large corporations. For the first time in over a century, we are now losing one of our greatest strength to the Chinese, who have now created their patent system to resemble the previous successful way the United States designed theirs. What can we do? Listen to our podcast with James Edwards.

James Edwards

Dr. James Edwards advises companies, trade associations, and conservative organizations on patent policy.  He is Founder and Executive Director of Conservatives for Property Rights, is the patent advisor for the Eagle Forum Education and Legal Defense Fund, and Co-Director of the Inventor’s Project, and participates in the Medical Device Manufacturers Association’s Patent Working Group. John Duncan, R-Tenn., the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and Sen. Strom Thurmond, R-S.C. In addition, he was an association executive at the Healthcare Leadership Council.
